Will Tweel make chrome rims obsolete

The tweek article got me to thinking the maybe chrome cheapchromerims22 wheels will be a thing of the past. Or maybe make the less expensive so that one can modify all his hotrods and street racers with high performance chrome rims. Normally one would be priced out of range. But if tweel takes off who knows?

Tweel on Audi

Michelin is trying out something called a Tweel. The Tweel wheel rim tire combination tire requires no air and cannot burst or flat. Michelin connects the Tweel wheel rim tire combination to shock shock-absorbing polyurethane spokes which are used to support the outer rim.
